Flu Vaccine - its not too late!

Flu vaccination - if you have not yet received the flu vaccination and are in one of the eligible groups please contact the Practice to book. There are mop up clinics still running and patients are advised to be vaccinated as early as possible in the season.  We expect our stocks of vaccines to last until the end of January so please contact reception to book before then.

Think you may have a urinary tract infection? If you are female and between the ages of 18 and 65 then you can go to your Pharmacy for treatment without an appointment. There is no need to take a sample and they can prescribe a course of antibiotics just like the GP.  Patients contacting the surgery may be directed to Pharmacy rather than treated here.  Please note this is not suitable for those who are allergic to Trimethoprim  or have recurrent symptoms - Pharmacy First!

Repeat Prescriptions only

Requests for medication not on your repeat prescription list should be made via the form available on the 'Acute Medication Requests' tab and not via the above link.

thepillPatients for whom repeat prescriptions have been approved by their doctor will receive a Repeat Prescription Order form (RPO form).  You can use this form to order your medications or you can access our on-line system (link above).

Requests on-line - The on-line system is much safer as it is linked directly to your clinical record at the Practice so the medication list is always up-to-date and accurate.
If you are not already registered for this service, please ask at reception for your unique login details.

Requests via paper - you can re-order your repeat medication by ticking the items required on your RPO form and hand in or post to the Health Centre.

Requests via Telephone - please note it is Practice Policy not to accept requests for repeat prescriptions over the telephone for reasons of patient safety.

Collection service - Our local pharmacies offer an excellent collection service.  All you need to do is remember to let us know your preferred point of collection.  You can collect your medication from your pharmacy 48 hours (2 working days) after the request is received in the practice.
Local Pharmacies: Strathallan, Lloyds, Sainsburys, Tescos, Cornton

Prescriptions for items not on a Repeat Prescription Order form such as contraceptive pills and antidepressants cannot be provided outwith a consultation with a GP.
